Ryder & Dutton Estate Agents Saddleworth
Saddleworth comprises several villages and hamlets amongst the west side of the Pennine Hills. It lies east of the large town of Oldham and 11 miles North East of the City of Manchester.
Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire for centuries Saddleworth was a centre of woollen cloth production and during the industrial revolution also became a centre for cotton spinning and weaving. Strong cultural links with Yorkshire remain amongst its communities and there are several brass bands.
Saddleworth is a beautiful part of the world with stunning scenery and some equally beautiful houses. There is an eclectic mix of property from character cottages to magnificent gentlemens residences, farms and small holdings.
Our Saddleworth office situated in the centre of Uppermill opened in 1977 and quickly grew to become the market leading Agent. Headed up by James Ebden MRICS a Chartered Surveyor and Director of the firm the team includes negotiators, office and viewing staff with many years experience dealing with Saddleworth property matters.
