Trainee Sales Negotiator

We are interested in receiving applications for a Trainee Sales Negotiator to cover viewings for our Middleton Branch.

We are seeking an ambitious outgoing person to join us as a trainee to learn from the bottom all aspects of our business and develop a career in Estate Agency. No previous estate agency experience is required as full training will be given. You should have a good knowledge of the area in order to provide advice and guidance regarding the local amenities whilst on viewings.

The post would be full time based out of our office in Middleton. The main part of the role will be to conduct viewings across the Middleton area as well as providing office-based cover when no viewings were required.

A driving licence and your own vehicle are both essential for this role, Mileage can be claimed at the personal rates of 45p per mile for the first 10,000 business miles and 25p over 10,000 business miles in the same tax year.

Working hours are 3.5 days midweek between the hours of Monday to Friday 09:00am to 5:30pm plus every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. There is flexibility for the 1.5 days off to be any combination of days/time between Tuesday to Thursday inclusive. This will be discussed further at interview.

During the summer months working hours change slightly from 09:00am start to 10:30am start and finish at 7:00pm instead of 5:30pm, We would expect the postholder to be able to able to work these hours 1 or 2 evenings per week.

You must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm. This role also requires you to work on public holidays with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. A day in lieu is offered for this.

There are opportunities to earn commissions on top of your basic salary.

Sales Negotiator

Our people are some of the best in the business and we are looking for a confident, hard-working and outgoing individual to join our fantastic team as a Sales Negotiator in our Residential Sales office in Middleton.

You will have a strong work ethic combined with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. You will have a natural ability to successfully build and maintain relationships with your clients and be ambitious and happy to hit the ground running in this role.

Ideally you will have previous industry experience of sales progression, however we will consider applications from individuals with no prior experience who demonstrate the required skill set we are looking for. You will be responsible for negotiating successful sales of our properties whilst maintaining strong relationships with applicants and existing clients as well as generating new business and new clients, registering new sales and lettings applicants and organising viewings therefore a knowledge of the Middleton area is required. Whilst the role will primarily deal with residential sales, you will also be required to undertake any lettings work as appropriate.

A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
