Trainee Estate Agent/Sales Negotiator

Salary: £15,160.00 to £16,100.00 pa plus commissions

We are seeking a Trainee Estate Agent/ Sales Negotiator to be based at our Shaw office. We are ideally looking for an ambitious, confident person who will probably have been educated to degree level or similar to develop or progress a career in Estate Agency.

The post is full time and would initially be based at our office in Shaw, although, on occasions, we do ask our trainees/negotiators to work at different branches to suit the needs of the business. The role would be mainly office based with some potential for outside work so a driving licence is preferred but not essential at this stage.

The hours of work would be 9am-5.30pm Mon-Fri and alternate Sat 10am-2pm.

This is a sales position so experience in a sales orientated environment would be an advantage but previous estate agency experience is not essential. The ability to provide great customer service is essential and successful candidates will be confident and outgoing and able to converse easily over the telephone and in person with members of the general public.

Sales commissions are paid on top of the basic salary.

The firm operates a 'promote from within' philosophy and there are opportunities for career development for the right person.

If you are interested in this post please submit by e-mail a current C.V together with a covering letter saying why the post would be of interest and why you might be suitable for it to Gill Warburton gwarburton@ryder-dutton.co.uk

Local area

Shaw, or Crompton as it was originally known, is located at the foothills of the South Pennines, on the River Beal, in-between Oldham and Rochdale. Since its economic boom from textile manufacturing during the industrial revolution Shaw is now a predominantly residential area, with sought after modern developments mixed with Victorian/Edwardian terraced property.

The town offers an excellent environment for the family, retaining a village feel, with highly regarded schools such as the popular Crompton House Secondary School and Sixth Form.
