You can call us anytime between 8.30am and 8.30pm weekdays and 10am until 4pm weekends on our normal office numbers or use live chat on our website. Our team are here to support and help you in every way we can. It may take us a little longer than normal to answer or respond but we will do so.

From Monday 15th June, the majority of our offices will be open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. For the time being we are still closed at weekends, but urgent matters will be dealt with by ringing 0161 925 3255.  Anyone who wishes to come into the office, for example to collect keys to a property, should call us in advance to make the necessary arrangements. We must ask that those visiting our offices adhere to social distancing measures at all times as the health and wellbeing of our customers & staff is our priority.

Our prime concern is the safety of everyone at this time therefore we will be issuing everyone guidelines when attending market appraisal appointments and undertaking viewings. (click for guidance)

During this period we will not be attending the office or external appointments in formal workwear so it is easier to wash our clothes regularly to minimise the risk of virus transmission.

We hope that the property market will soon return to normal.

 

For our fully managed rentals we have a Property Management team in place and we will continue to deal with maintenance issues which are urgent subject to the availability of contractors. These should be reported using our online tracker on the homepage of our websites. We cannot guarantee that issues reported in any other way will be dealt with. 

We are still offering rent guarantee & legal cover to our landlords however the insurer has amended the terms until further notice. Landlords will still receive cover in the event of rent arrears for up to six monthly payments along with legal cover in the event of a breach of tenancy – terms and conditions apply.

Ryder & Dutton/Mortimers response to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.

In response to the current Coronavirus (Covid1-19) outbreak which is causing much concern to businesses and consumers alike we wish to share the following information.

Our strategy currently focusses on four elements.

Communication

We are making sure all Ryder & Dutton/Mortimers employees are aware of the risks of Coronavirus and how to mitigate against them, keeping everyone as safe as possible whilst continuing to provide a service to our clients.

Containment

We are ensuring we take sensible, pragmatic and proportional approaches to different situations in order to contain any risk of infecting our own team members and other people. 

Care

For our employees, clients and the general public we support them by making sure we minimise their risk of exposure, particularly those travelling to appointments on behalf of Ryder & Dutton and Mortimers. We have issued guidance to those conducting external appointments and we are continually risk assessing our activities in the light of changing Government guidelines.

Clients

By doing all the above we are trying to ensure we can provide a continuing and consistent service to our clients in the event that there is an escalation of the situation. We have investigated the option of home working and we have the technology for our managers and surveyors to work from home to maintain contact with clients, keep them advised and complete tasks.
