(But just NOT from our offices until things get back to normal)

You can call us anytime between 8.30am and 8.30pm weekdays and 10am until 4pm weekends on our normal office numbers or use live chat on our website. Our team are here to support and help you in every way we can. It may take us a little longer than normal to answer or respond but we will do so.

We will give you whatever help and advice you need but we can’t arrange viewings or market appraisals just now.

We are told by many Solicitors that no matter what we do or say there will be no more exchanges of contracts until the restrictions are lifted but those properties where exchange has taken place will be allowed to complete as this is deemed to be essential.

We will continue to do check ins and check outs for rented properties that have already been agreed following the current social distancing guidelines but we cannot arrange anymore check ins until the restrictions are lifted.

For our fully managed rentals we have a Property Management team in place and we will continue to deal with maintenance issues which are urgent subject to the availability of contractors. These should be reported using our online tracker on the homepage of our websites. We cannot guarantee that issues reported in any other way will be dealt with.

Ryder & Dutton/Mortimers response to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.

In response to the current Coronavirus (Covid1-19) outbreak which is causing much concern to businesses and consumers alike we wish to share the following information.

Our strategy currently focusses on four elements.

Communication

We are making sure all Ryder & Dutton/Mortimers employees are aware of the risks of Coronavirus and how to mitigate against them, keeping everyone as safe as possible whilst continuing to provide a service to our clients.

Containment

We are ensuring we take sensible, pragmatic and proportional approaches to different situations in order to contain any risk of infecting our own team members and other people. 

Care

For our employees, clients and the general public we support them by making sure we minimise their risk of exposure, particularly those travelling to appointments on behalf of Ryder & Dutton and Mortimers. We have issued guidance to those conducting external appointments and we are continually risk assessing our activities in the light of changing Government guidelines.

Clients

By doing all the above we are trying to ensure we can provide a continuing and consistent service to our clients in the event that there is an escalation of the situation. We have investigated the option of home working and we have the technology for our managers and surveyors to work from home to maintain contact with clients, keep them advised and complete tasks.
